The Smooth Sound Alliance originally began as a Jazz Trio from the Mid Hudson Valley, founded by Pat Greer-Earle, John Grady, and Louie Cantarini, featuring 1 female lead vocalist 1 acoustic guitarist 1, electric/upright bass player 1 violin, keyboardist and 1 conga percussionist which initiates a sound not captured by any Jazz ensembles in the area. We play all your favorite Jazz Standards as well as Smooth Pop Tunes in an unobtrusive fashion. Currently the ensemble consists of 5 musicians as its core, however they have a wide variety of musicians from various parts of the Hudson valley who play a variety of venues with them when they want to take a break from typical music because the Alliance plays music at a level that allows their audience to have friendly conversation, or just sit back and listen. They like to call it Dinner Music. The Smooth Sound Alliance also provides Jazz/Pop/R&B sounds service for Receptions, Weddings and Private Parties that features an even larger group of Seasoned Musicians trained in the spectrum of music genres. They love Music in it's Pure form. No auto tune or drum machines. Nothing but Real vocals and real instruments in this Alliance.
